Education

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation gave Marsh Middle School, now the T.C. Marsh Preparatory Academy, a grant funding the school’s new personalized learning curriculum. The grant, also given to seven other DISD schools, provides $1,500-$2,000 per student, covering the first year of implementation, starting with sixth grade. Marsh hopes to continue receiving support to roll out the program to seventh and eighth grade over the next couple of years, becoming a full personalized learning campus by the 2017-18 school year.
