Radiation oncologist Dr. Asal Rahimi was the first physician in Texas to use advanced video monitoring (Vision RT™) to safely treat left-sided breast cancer patients by protecting the heart from excess radiation. Dr. Rahimi and her colleagues also are pioneering the use of CyberKnife for breast cancer. Using radiosurgical techniques, this state-of-the-art robotic tool pinpoints and treats cancerous lesions with extreme precision.
