You Said It

“These schools, and all of the schools of DISD, deserve every ounce of support that we as parents and a community have to offer. This is not about economics. It is not about settling for the more affordable public school. This is about support through involvement. The success of the students, teachers and schools is hugely impacted by the support they are given. Get involved with your kid’s school. Reach out to other kids who may need a little extra help. Join parent and community support groups such as PTA and SBDM. Not sure what they are about? Ask the principal. We are a multi-cultural community of varying socioeconomic backgrounds who can enrich our schools with knowledge and skills.”
