The real ‘Argo’

Tony and Jonna Mendez recently spoke to residents at Edgemere Senior Living about their experiences as intelligence officers. Jonna spent 27 years in the field and earned the CIA’s Intelligence Commendation Medal. Tony received the Intelligence Star of Valor for his involvement in the rescue of six U.S. diplomats in Iran, the event on which the Oscar-winning film “Argo” is based.
