Nearby, and expected to open soon, Patrick Columbo’s new restaurant in the former Preston-Royal Popolos space finally has a name, Princi Italia The Italian restaurant with a Tuscan farmhouse-like atmosphere has hired Chef Kevin Ascolese (Fuse, Ferré, Mi Piaci) to create a menu full of handmade pastas, flatbreads, wood-fired pizzas and other authentic Italian dishes.

NorthPark Center will be buzzing this month. The shopping center hosts its third annual Fashion’s Night Out on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 6-10 p.m. The event features live fashion podiums, make-up and beauty stations, live music, “fashionable” food and in-store events. The men’s, women’s and accessories boutique Elie Tahari Ltd. opens its first freestanding boutique inDallas this month at NorthPark Center. Nike will also open its new store concept at NorthPark this month, featuring its NIKEiD on-site customization services for footwear, apparel and equipment. The much-anticipated opening of the trendy fashion boutique H&M has finally arrived. “H&M is thrilled to be expanding into the Texas market,” says Daniel Kulle, U.S. president for H&M. “We have been waiting for this for quite some time.
