WATER WELLS ARE BRINGING NEW HOPE TO VILLAGES

We’ve already begun our second clean water well project of 2019. Unfortunately, the team hit rock, which forced them to move sites, however, now the work is continuing and the well will be completed shortly. Thank you for your continued giving and donations that are bringing fresh, clean water to these villages.

WALK FOR WATER CAMPAIGN

IMAGINE HAVING TO WALK SEVEN MILES FOR CLEAN WATER. THIS IS LIFE FOR 783 MILLION PEOPLE THAT DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A CLEAN WATER SOURCE IN AFRICA. 115 WILL DIE EVERY HOUR FROM LACK OF HYGIENE AND CLEAN WATER.

This August, a group of men and women from Advocates For Africa will attempt to hike 75 miles, in some of the roughest terrain imaginable, in order to raise money for 8 clean water wells in rural Africa. We need your help in this! The “Walk for Water” campaign and it’s resulting wells will bring clean water and renewed health to thousands of people! Make your gift by May 31st to receive a free Advocate t-shirt as a thank you from us!

PRESENTED BY ADVOCATES FOR AFRICA

PASTORS FROM EAST AFRICA RECEIVE VITAL TRAINING

In February, a team from Advocates for Africa trained over 600 pastors from Congo, Tanzania, Burundi and Rwanda. We were thankful to have the help of Pastors Keith Ward, Scott Pfingston, Larry Hutcheson and photographer Brice Smith during this mission. Thanks to their hard work, we are believing that thousands more will hear the gospel of Jesus.

GENERATIONS CHURCH PROVIDES JESUS FILM SUPPLIES FOR FIELD TEAM IN RWANDA

We want to thank Generations Church in Guthrie, Oklahoma for purchasing a solar powered Jesus Film kit for an Advocates for Africa field team. This team put the equipment to use right away and people received Christ asa direct result of it. The equipment, which costs $3000, is given to one of our trained evangelists to carry into remote villages. People come by the thousands to see the film of Jesus’ life and resurrection. We’ve never seen such a powerful evangelistic tool! Our goal is to provide three more of these units before the end of this year. Will you pray about helping to provide one?

LIFE CENTER PROJECT PRODUCES GRADUATES

We recently graduated 13 from the Life Center. These ladies, and a few gentlemen, were all divorcees which left them shunned in their villages and, sadly, their churches. Learning to sew and make soap and lotions has provided them a new opportunity to gain income for their families. They told us that once they believed they were forgotten by God. However, after the Life Center, they have named themselves “the ladies not forgotten”.
