ENDESA, A TRAVÉS DE EGPE, HA AUMENTADO LA POTENCIA INSTALADA RENOVABLE LOGRANDO QUE EL 70% DE NUESTRA PRODUCCIÓN SEA LIBRE DE EMISIONES CON EL OBJETIVO DE LOGRAR UN MODELO ENERGÉTICO SOSTENIBLE

En Endesa gestionamos actualmente más de 7.812 MW de capacidad renovable instalada en España. En nuestro Plan Estratégico 2021-2023 hemos reforzado esta apuesta por las energías limpias para impulsar la descarbonización: nuestro parque de renovables crecerá un 50% hasta 2023 respecto a 2020, alcanzando los 11.500 MW solares, eólicos e hidráulicos. A finales de 2023, el 89% de la producción peninsular estará libre de emisiones de CO₂. Trabajamos constantemente por aumentar nuestra cartera de proyectos eólicos y solares, así como en el desarrollo de los que están actualmente operativos. De esta manera aseguramos el crecimiento continuo de la capacidad renovable en el futuro y acrecentamos la posibilidad de cerrar acuerdos comerciales en la venta de energía renovable. Esto es solo el inicio del gran reto de acelerar la inversión en energías renovables y la descarbonización. En la construcción, mantenimiento y operación de las plantas renovables aplicamos un modelo de creación de valor compartido (CSV) que integra las prioridades y necesidades de las comunidades locales en la estrategia de negocio. Este modelo promueve la eficiencia operativa y el enfoque sostenible de los proyectos a través del impulso de medidas sociales, ambientales y de eficiencia energética en los municipios del entorno de las plantas. Through EGPE, Endesa currently manages over 7,812 MW of renewable capacity installed in Spain. Of this sum, 4,711 MW is conventional hydropower, and the remaining is from wind power (2,362 MW), solar power (657 MW), mini-hydro (79 MW) and other renewable energy sources (3 MW). We are constantly working to increase our portfolio of wind and solar projects, and to develop those that are currently in operation. This ensures that our renewable capacity will continue growing in the future and increases the possibility of closing commercial agreements for the sale of renewable energy. This is just the beginning of the great challenge of accelerating investment in renewable energy and decarbonisation. We apply a creating shared value (CSV) model to the construction, maintenance and operation of renewable plants that incorporates the priorities and needs of local communities into the business strategy. This model enhances the operating efficiency and the sustainable approach of the projects by promoting social, environmental and energy efficiency measures in the towns around the plants.
