Background

Bandung is a creative city with the largest number of creative resources. Even in 2007, the British Council made Bandung the most creative City pilot project in East Asia. And currently, the city of Bandung is one of the main destinations in terms of tourism and education. There are a wide variety of communities with all their creative activities in the city. Communities in the field of education are growing and actively assisting the government’s performance.

Issue

Problems regarding street children need to be considered by the government and citizens in the city of Bandung. According to data from the Social Service website of West Java Province in 2015, it obtained the fact that the number of street children in the city of Bandung ranked first with the highest number, which is 1,121 children.

Bandung Street Children School

The school was designed as a solution to the problem of education for street children. The main focus is as a child-friendly space. A place that educates and accommodates the facilities and needs of development and creativity of street children.
