World Senior LC Championships Shanghai, China 16th to 31st July, 2011 Qualification Period 1st August 2010 to 31st May 2011. Swimmers achieving individual qualification standards in 2010 must be within 1% of the qualifying time in 2011 to remain on the team, with the fastest 2 swimmers to qualify for each event. Swimmers may nominate a specific domestic or overseas meet for consideration, in consultation with the National Performance Director. This must be confirmed before 1st January, 2011. The Open Water selection policy will be confirmed at a later date. Selection is based on ratification from the Selection Committee. Claim forms must be submitted by 31st May 2011. Swimmers may be required to prove their fitness before final selection. There will be a maximum of 2 swimmers per event. Swimmers must qualify in all events. Relays will be selected based on the four fastest aggregated times achieved from 1st January 2011 to 31st May 2011 in selected meet(s) approved by the National Performance Director.
