FLOODPLAIN PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS The Floodplain Protection Overlay Schedules (see maps) identify those areas ofCloverdale, Rossdale and Riverdale that fall within the 1:100 year flood line of the North Saskatchewan River Valley and Ravine System and apply additional regulations to future developments.

Between -1993 and 1996, Alberta Environmental Protection undertook new mapping of the floodplains adjacent to the North Saskatchewan River Valley and. . Ravine System. This led to an amendment . of the Floodplain Protection Overlay Schedules for Cloverdale, Rossdale and .' Properties no longer within the S 1:100 yearflood line were removed from the Overlay Schedules. Properties newly "within the 1:100 year flood line were added .and are now subject to the special information requirements of the Overlay Schedules.. City Council approved these on boundaries new l -floodplain 1997. 14, April
