Challenges in Volatile Fertilizer Market Ras Mohamed Protected Area Ras Mohammed is the headland at the southernmost tip of the Sinai Peninsula, overlooking the juncture of the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba. More than 200 species of corals, where 125 species are soft corals, around 1000 species of fish, 40 species of star fish, 25 species of sea urchins, more than a 100 species of mollusk and 150 species of crustaceans. Tourism in Southern Sinai is inherently linked to the natural resources of the area. Degradation of these natural resources as a result of tourism or development activities is not in the best interests of investors or tourists. The Protected areas program seeks to establish equilibrium between development activities, tourism and the natural resource conservation measures needed to achieve sustainable economic development. Due to Ras Mohamed’s geographical position, divers find almost permanent strong currents during all the year, which attracts larger fish. Beautiful beaches, extraordinary coral reefs and exciting dive sites make Ras Mohamed National Park a worthwhile visit. The National Park offers outstanding coral reef and nature viewing experiences to the visitor.

St. Catherine St. Catherine is the name of both the monastery and city located at an elevation of 1586 m, and it’s 120 km away from the closest city, Dahab. During Roman times, a monastery was built at the foot of Mount Sinai, the place where it is believed that Moses received the 10 Commandments from God. Just east of the monastery lies Wadi El Sybaiya, the oldest settlement in the area. The city is surrounded by the highest motivation ranges in Egypt. The altitude of the city and the mountains around it allow the city to enjoy a mild and pleasant climate. Though summer nights are cool, the winter nights can reach temperatures as low as -14°C. It’s so cold; in fact, snow is not uncommon during the winter months of December to February. The area is home to many unique plants and animals such as the world’s smallest butterfly, the Sinai Baton Blue Butterfly. This sensitive ecosystem is a great place to look out for some of the really interesting animals that call the region home, such as foxes, rock Hyraxes, Sinai Agamas, and the Nubian Ibex. Today, while it is one of the oldest monasteries in the world, its original, preserved state is unmatched.

Sharm El-Sheikh City:
In recent years, Sharm El-Sheikh has become one of Egypt's best known and most visited beach resorts. In fact, in recent years, Sharm remains the leading tourist spot in the Sinai. It is a year round resort, hot in the summer, but pleasant and warm in the winter, and it has an international airport that attracts both private and many international charter flights. The area between Tiran Island and Ras Mohammed National Park on the tip of the Southern Sinai features some of the world's most amazing underwater scenery. Here, one finds crystal clear water, rare and beautiful reefs, and an incredible variety of exotic fish amongst the colorful coral. Sharm el-Sheikh offers the beauty of the Sinai, with its majestic mountains and valleys, a number of national parks, as well as some well known nearby tourist attractions such as St. Catherine's Monastery. There is more to Sharm, however, than the beaches, sea and landscape. It is a well developed area that almost seems more like a European resort, with refined facilities and amenities, including these days, some more budget oriented accommodations as well as five star hotels equal to most any in the world. True, Sharm el-Sheikh is often called the "City of Peace", because of the various peace conferences held in the city and attended by world leaders, but it is also a "world resort", popular among and visited by people from all over Europe, because of its affordability, but also by those from much more distant lands, because it is fun. It is a one of those places where memories are made, that remain pleasant and fondly cherished dreams. 18 thAFA Int’l. Annual Fertilizer Forum Exhibition

One of the most magnificent things about Egypt. The Nile River has played an extremely important role in the civilization, life and history of the Egyptian nation. It was named after the Greek word "Nelios", meaning River Valley. Today, exotic and sophisticated Cairo grace the banks of the Nile River, as they have for thousands of years. Individuals interested in experiencing the Nile up close and personal can journey along the famous river aboard riverboat luxury cruises and traditional sailing boats that depart from numerous cities and locations along the bank. An ultimate relaxing and releasing experience.
