Forum Outcomes 17th AFA Int’l Annual Fertilizers Forum & Exhibition April 11-13, 2011 Cairo Marriott Hotel, Egypt Representatives of regional and international fertilizer companies and institutions, more than 600 delegates, convened in the 17th AFA Annual Fertilizer Forum in Cairo under the theme “Your Road to Business”.. It is worth mentioning that; the importance of the Arab region is set to increase in future, based on the concentration of new projects leading to increasing market share. The forum proceedings continued for 3 days, through which the following issues were covered: World Food Security Situation and Challenges in the view of : Importance of maximizing the fertilizers role in closing the food gap at present & future times. Paying due concern to Nutrient Balance to maximize agricultural productivity & preserve environment.
