Luxury Grade II listed Great Northern Hotel in King’s Cross is proud to introduce its brand-new Nyetimber Sparkling Wine Afternoon Tea, served Saturday to Monday from 1pm-5pm at the recently opened RAILS Restaurant. Take a seat in the chic and stylish brasserie with a glass of Nyetimber English sparkling wine before choosing a loose leaf tea blend from East India Tea Company, from English Breakfast and Early Grey to Camomile and Lemongrass & Ginger. Tuck into savoury delicacies including classic finger sandwiches, a cranberry and sausage roll or vegetarian wild mushroom tartlet featuring freshly baked flaky pastry, homemade fruit and plain scones served alongside a selection of fruit preserves and lashings of Cornish clotted cream. Other delicious, sweet treats on offer include a zesty mango and passionfruit cheesecake; a banana deluxe; a light yet decadent chocolate mousse and a fluffy Victoria Sponge.
