William Vander Pols, returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Tanzania, worked with his community on malaria and HIV/AIDS-related projects. With his community, William received a Peace Corps grant to construct chicken coops and buy chickens, which provide both protein and generate income for people living with HIV. He also worked with Grassroots Soccer to teach life skills and gives informal guitar lessons to a neighbor. 66
