Milton was buzzing with excitement when the newly rebranded Gallery Alchemy launched in February. The champagne flowed and the community came out to support director Sarah Thomas and her passionate team, who continue to deliver magical artistic experiences in their signature space. Just over 12 months ago, Sarah took the reins at the former Van Rensburg Galleries. In that time, she flourished in the role, gathering an impressive stable of 40 artists – a truly eclectic mix of painters, printmakers, sculptors and ceramicists – who all boast unique styles and talents. With new exhibitions each month, stunningly curated, presented and launched, Gallery Alchemy provides an elegant, light-filled space for artists to showcase their work and for art lovers to gather to appreciate and celebrate art. – Whitewash Magazine – Issue #28 luis@gallery550.com.au | gallery550.com.au | (+61) 4 6796 8550

G550 is a contemporary art gallery located in Richmond, Victoria, inside the Swan Street Artist Studios. The gallery’s main focus is to showcase the work of over 30 artists who are part of the studios. G550 has become a fixture in the local art scene, known for its innovative exhibitions and its commitment to promoting emerging and established artists alike. In addition to its exhibition space in the studios, G550 has recently been exploring opportunities to showcase its artists in different venues and nonconventional spaces. This experimental approach will allow the gallery to bring contemporary art to new audiences and challenge traditional notions of what an art exhibition can be.
