SOCIAL MEDIA SAVVY Afford’s social presence is always growing, with our sites uploading weekly to their respective site’s group Facebook pages. Facebook has always been a fantastic tool to showcase clients enjoying our supports each day and sharing precious moments with carers and parents. It is a great way to keep them involved and updated on their loved ones and their fabulous adventures. For our Supported Accommodation residents, it is also a great way to show families what a remarkable life our residents have as part of the Afford Lifestyle and the cool things they get up to during the week and on the weekend. Social media creates a seamless way to share our life and experiences with our loved ones and friends while also providing an opportunity for new people to connect with Afford and follow our journey as we grow and expand. This can potentially create new clients leads as well as job enquiries for both open and supported employment. We also share a lot of our events and activities via video, mostly created by our talented videographer, Joshua Vincent from Jovi Creative. Our videos have always proved to be highly popular, as they are often very emotional and moving, showcasing a moment in time. This past year we even launched several amazing videos for you to watch on our YouTube channel. As an Affordian, it is important that you follow us on social media so you too can keep up with the fun and cool things other sites may be doing, our events, giveaways and more!
