AT A GLANCE WHAT IS AFI DATA PORTAL (ADP)? The ADP is a unique integrated global database of financial inclusion policies, regulations, and outcomes, built by policymakers for policymakers and the public. Launched in 2016, today the ADP houses financial inclusion data from over 60 countries in the AFI network, sourced and reported directly by by AFI members. For policymakers and regulators, the ADP is not only a valuable way to showcase national achievements in financial inclusion, but also an effective and efficient tool for benchmarking and analyzing progress on policy implementation. As a repository of knowledge on the policy and regulatory status of financial inclusion initiatives, the ADP provides peer learning opportunities for national policymakers and regulators. As an open platform, it enhances AFI’s contribution to global knowledge on financial inclusion. The ADP is open to anyone, free of charge.

WHICH DATASETS ARE IN THE ADP? The ADP currently features three datasets: > Maya Declaration Commitments - The world’s first measurable set of commitments to financial inclusion. This platform enables AFI member institutions to publicly pledge concrete financial inclusion targets and regularly report on their progress. Through the ADP, users can view all Maya Declaration commitments and related progress reports. AFI members can also announce new Maya Declaration targets and submit progress reports on existing ones. > AFI Country Policy Profiles - The first repository of knowledge on the legal and regulatory status of financial inclusion in AFI member countries. The CPPs allow users to examine the regulatory frameworks of each country and identify thematic, regional and global trends.

HOW CAN I ACCESS THE ADP? The ADP is open to the public, free of charge! Please visit the ADP at www.afi-dataportal.org to sign up and receive your login details. If you are a staff member of an AFI member institution, please use your institution e-mail address. The ADP will recognize that you belong to an institution in the AFI network and you will enjoy additional features!
