Is The soul of AmerIcA corrupTed?

The rationale for spiritually asking this question is based upon Native American annihilation, the 1619 Project, the spiritual tenets of the Preamble, U. S. Constitution, and the profound spiritual words inscribed upon Lady Liberty (The Statute of Liberty). America, before attempting to answer this question we must spiritually understand these scriptural words of inspiration: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8: 28).
First, many of our ancestors have duplicity in the almost extinction of Native Americans, simply because Native Americans were willing to fight for their human rights to be free and would not be a slave. The 1619 Project was about the vile, greediness, and evilness of settlers who did not want to work to clear the land to build the infrastructure of the nation, and we all know the historical facts. The Founders wrote an almost perfect spiritual Godly documents.

A revival of God consciousness
Bobby Mills, PhdEvery American should be spiritually saddened by the evil, confusion, and gun violence we are witnessing in American society, especially in public schools. The Prophet Habakkuk had a dialogue with God concerning the question of evil in society, because he was saddened by the evil in Judah. “God is never indifferent to evil in society, but it did seem that way to Habakkuk.” And oftentimes it seems that way to most individuals in American society. Therefore, we ask why do evil individuals seemly go unpunished? These were the questions Habakkuk had on his mind and brought them to God. Blacks and Whites who are Godfearing Christians need to bring their concerns through prayer to God concerning evil in a multi-cultural democratic society, because God has pure eyes. God sees all and
knows all, and the retribution for sin is always at hand. Be Careful Christian Right Evangelicals, The GOP, White Nationalists, Fox “FAKE” News, and some spiritually misguided Blacks and other minorities, because “God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day” (Psalm 7: 11). Habakkuk could not spiritually understand that you cannot hurry God, because it is for His appointed time, not ours, because God is TIME (Eternity). Habakkuk had doubt because he saw evildoers prospering and not being punished by God. For example, America witnessed the ungodly and shameful expulsion of two Black male legislators for demonstrating and standing with children and parents in the Nashville, Tennessee community concerning gun violence. Tennessee is the modern-day classic slogan of White men, “There go I except by the grace of another White man, not God.” The third person who was up for expulsion in the Tennessee House was not expelled by one vote. Hence, it was not happenstance that she is White!
The OverflowLet Them Read
I believe literacy is important and every child across the world should be reading. It is where they learn, develop vocabulary, identify different writing styles, and so much more. However, there has been a recent push to ban certain books in schools across the nation. This ban has strategically targeted books by Black and LGTBQ authors, or books that contain information or messages about race, racism, LGBTQ, etc. While these topics can be controversial and have been politicalized, parents should have the final say on what they want their child to be exposed to. To be honest, growing up in grade school, we read so many different things ranging from a variety of topics, and it was all enlightening and I learned a lot. So what has changed? Why is everything becoming political? And why is K-12 becoming the forefront of the conversation around
the nation when there are other issues we can focus on? It was noted by PEN America that 25 percent of the bans were tied to political pressure. They want to talk about K-12, okay, what about school shootings? Why haven’t we seen any legislation or more political pressure regarding that? We live in a world that will ban books but not assault rifles that have left many kids six feet under. This is a problem. None of us are safe, and our kids are not safe. Banning certain books on the shelves of different school libraries is the least of my concerns. If this is such a great concern, then let parents decide and sign a waiver for their child to be able to read about these topics. There is a way to do this without banning them. To me, it is all about approach. How can we approach these topics that don’t force an agenda, but educate and inform students about it in an appropriate manner. I will say that there are certain books that are for certain grade levels, and that should be recognized. But everything else, let the parents decide.

America cont. Yet, the Founders could not live up to the lofty spiritual tenets, and in the 21st century we still cannot live up to the high spiritual moral tenets of the documents, even with all its Amendments. The Statute of Liberty espouses the universality
labor, not inclusion. Remember, America fought a Civil War to end free labor exploitation. Thus, it is easy to declare that we are trying to create a fair and universally just society, and we all know that America has gone to the moon and safely returned. America split the Atom. America built
cultural democratic society, whereby all Americans share in the nation’s bounty. America, talking is cheap. In America, we have too many citizens namely Christian Right Evangelicals, The GOP, White Nationalists, Fox “FAKE” News, and some spiritually

corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good” (Psalm 14: 1). Individuals who desire to transform America’s multicultural democracy into a White Privilege Autocracy need to get over it, because “fools make a mockery of sin: but among the

There are numerous socio-economic factors that are corrupting the soul of America, but the ungodly availability of guns, especially military-style weapons
experiencing a devilish, deadly gun culture of death and societal mayhem. It is a fact that too many of our legislators do not want to change America’s gun culture, but most Americans desire change, because they know that children are our future, not guns. Our fervent prayer is that God
