Bidvest acquisition set to double its FM footprint Down under

Industrial group Bidvest has acquired Australia’s Consolidated Property Services (CPS) from its private shareholders, with the acquisition set to double the group’s facilities management footprint in the country. The acquisition of CPS follows the purchase of Sydney-based BIC Services by Bidvest in July 2022. Established in 1977, CPS is a leading provider of integrated property services to more than 145 sites across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia, and employs almost 3,500 people. The Melbourne-based service provider’s core cleaning services are focused on commercial and retail customers and are complemented by technical, hygiene and waste management services. The vast majority of its revenue is generated from direct contacts with building owners and tenants, with many of these relationships spanning in excess of 10 years.
