abon and Arsenal football club captain, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang may become what the English club lacked in the last decade. Yes, Arsenal may have had legends and big players in the mould of Titi Thierry Henry, but the commitment of their African attacking wizard has given Gunners around the world a powerful boost and hope as they look to add silverware in their trophy cabinet. Tw o c l u b s m a d e o ff e r s f o r P i e r r e - E m e r i c k Aubameyang before the Arsenal captain signed a new three-year deal, Dharmesh Sheth informed The Transfer Show. "It's thanks to our fans, my teammates, my family and everybody at this club that I feel like I belong here”, Aubameyang said. Pierre Aubameyang's contract was due to expire at the end of this 2020-21 season, which means he would have been free to talk to other clubs from January. Prior to putting down his signature for an extension to 2023, the Arsenal FC faithful were worried that their most important player could leave like Thierry, van Persie, Fabregas and Sanchez did, thus breaking hearts.

Editorial Ukachukwu Okorie Editor-in-Chief
Light defeats darkness. Darkness bows to the light. Your gospel is truth. Because truth is transparent. March on, the people's warrior. I care less about the antagonism Of the gospel behind the microphone. I detest bastards nd inconsequential, Idiots who panic at your truth. We are ready to march on their graves. March on, the people's warrior. We are fanatics of truth. We preach death to haters of truth. We are waiting to march for truth And cannot wait to fight for truth. Death to enemies of Biafra. March on, the people's warrior. Come on the people's warrior. March on with the gospel. Let the truth be told no matter whose ox is gored. I care less when on pavement of truth. Because Chukwu Okike is truth. March on, the people's warrior.
I
t is important to inform the International Community about the situation in Nigeria. A cauldron is boiling across the landscape of Africa’s most populous country. There may be a graveyard silence, but the fact is that the Fulanis are getting intoxicated in an orgy of violence across the country. First, the current government of President Muhammadu Buhari has flagrantly ignored all laid down laws protecting the lives of Nigerians as Fulani militant groups kill innocent people on a daily basis with impunity. Secondly, it is no longer news that the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El Rufai, who is Fulani, is alleged to be a key sponsor of the rampaging and murderous herdsmen. He has not hidden it with the level of killings going on in Kaduna, and his often cash payments to the killers. Thirdly, Fulani militant groups and Boko Haram sympathizers in the Nigeria Army have now started killing on different fronts in the southern part of the country. A cattle breeder’s group called Miyetti Allah Kauta Hore have announced, and are finalizing logistics for a security outfit across the country. Already, its members have been raping, killing women and destroying crops. They are equally confiscating indigenous lands across southeast with the support of security agencies. Fourthly, they are bragging, provoking law abiding people and beating drums of war.

Though I am royally romantic I flirt deeply with my tentacles I lure with vibes But I am taken for sure. THE BODYBAG GOVERNOR Are Anoles Charmeleones? Can Anoles climb trees? What about walls and fences? Now hear Uka on this day. I mean all that are humane. There's a diminutive defender? A scum of the Sahel
An anole lizard for sure. His salutation is no love; a wave is deceptive, and one to his people is death. His truth is as short as him. How can we forget his lyrics? The marvelous bodybag tunes, in a harsh baritone voice. Forget not my words. Posterity judges history. Diminutive, yet their best defender. How many own goals have gone? He wants to be a Captain, in that horrible team of talentless animals. See behind his back. Soldiers nodding at his curfew. Yet fear and shrivel at sunset. And then mass graves at sunrise. A real scum of the Sahel. Indeed, his wave is death. An epitaph to mankind.
THE BIAFRA ROADMAP:
My Thesis on Sabotage PART 2
M
y clan always says that when you are asked to exhume a corpse from its burial ground, there is every tendency that you may start from the feet, because you were not available when it was interned. So in its simplicity, Sabotage, like I defined earlier, is to intentionally prevent the success of a plan or action. More so, in every plot, there must be a saboteur for sabotage to take place, and it is usually by one or those that know a little or full details about the action plan. I want to look at the issue of Internal Sabotage or what I call Sabotage Within. It does come in many forms. Culprits bear different names, and they may be rich or poor. But there are factors that drive it, and I shall be looking at them from the prism of the struggle to restore the Republic of Biafra. Most actions that liberate people in captivity, be it in war or servitude, tend to be attracted to sabotage by what is usually tagged anti progressive elements, although those against may argue otherwise. Believe it or not, human and spiritual forces have been against the people of Biafra particularly the Heebos or Igbos that dwell around the southeast end of the Atlantic Ocean and river Niger. Developments from the Trans Atlantic slave era till this day strongly lay credence to my assertion. Heebos were the most sought after slaves in the new world, despite their high cost, rebellious nature and inclination to suicide than servitude. The European enslavers knew that those bought from the Bight of Biafra were builders and natural leaders, and therefore needed them to oil the machines of growth in western capitals and the new world. Like I have argued in previous writings sparsely published in the social media, what the Heebos and their Biafra kith and kin undergo is a punishment for idolatry, having abandoned their omnipotent God in heaven for carved woods and lesser spirits. Their enslaver followed them into their hinterland abode, divided and imposed false identity on them, then lump them together with strange bedfellows, who are more like bloodsuckers. What has been the fate of Heebos since slavery? They have been living a life of no respite as their enslavers ensure that they remain new slaves in the post Atlantic slave era. Heebos and their Biafra relatives are surrounded by human wolves and hyenas, and unfortunately, they share a country set up by the enslaver. All these are punishments for idolatry, and letting down their great God Chukwu Okike Abiama, the Creator, whose feet rests on our earthly abode. I can go on and on, on what has befallen the Heebos for centuries. But whatever happens, they are a chosen people of God, and can never be annihilated. The time of freedom has come. The sabotage within must be dealt with ruthlessly. There are a couple of factors that drive sabotage against the Biafra restoration as it was witnessed during the last 30 months of the 1960s, in which it existed as a nation. Beside the execution of Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Agbam, Alale and Victor Banjo, who is not Biafran and Commander of the Midwest expeditionary force, there were other Saboteurs among the military and civilian class. Although there are conflicting accounts over their motive, but generally, greed, social stratification, marriage and identity crises give room to major hurdles in this my discourse on the Sabotage Within. Looking at the front row of those greed is propelling to sabotage Biafra are the so-called elite especially politicians. Although many among them want Biafra restored, but greed, avarice and jealousy have taken over their heart since they got involved in Nigeria politics, which lacks ideology and direction. Tracing the emergence of this crop of politicians starts from the Biafra/Nigeria war which ended in 1970. The war itself produced Saboteurs, and the hardship together with successive and deliberate policies aimed to impoverish and intimidate Biafrans, particularly Igbo groomed more. More so, many illegitimate kids fathered by invading Nigerian soldiers, rapists and opportunists are now adults, and thus empowered to become tools. From a personal research, I discovered that pre-war social standing of Biafra women has diminished since the end of the war. As a matter of fact, the rush to rape or cart away an Igbo woman during the war era became a trophy thing. Though we are in peace time, the desire to marry one now looks like a social obligation to non Biafrans. And honestly, these offspring has helped the enemy attempt to silence the burning desire to restore our Republic. Like the Yoruba situation with Afonja and its Muslim population, who were empowered and used against the rest, many of these children fathered by non Biafrans have often Cont in P12

Lunda Lubanza Ceremony
L
unda Lubanza is among many other colourful traditional ceremonies celebrated in Zambia. Particularly, the ceremony is celebrated by the Lunda speaking people of Zambezi District in the mineral rich North Western Province. It is usually held in the month of August when harvest related activities are over. All Lunda chiefs gather at the palace of Chief Ishindi, their paramount chief. Preparations for the ceremony starts as soon as cold season is over and the grass is dry enough to use in building the “chipango” the chief ‘s main shelter and the “malapa” where the general populace would sit . The organisation of the ceremony also includes the preparation by dance troupes and other entertainment groups. There are various forms of entertainment during the Lunda Lubanza. Apart from drumming and dancing, which are most popular ones, there is poetry and music which are usually in praise to the paramount chief. Since many people are usually expected to attend the ceremony, enough food has to be prepared. The Lunda traditional drink, munkoyo, is prepared together with some traditional beer a day before the main event. For meat, a number of cattle are slaughtered and sometimes game meat provided through the chief’s hunting rights. Other food stuffs like cassava, groundnuts, sweet potatoes and pumpkins are provided by the subjects. The peak of events is on the Lubanza day when people gather to meet the chief. As they wait, a hilarious atmosphere of singing, dancing and drumming characterises the gathering. A special form of drumming signals the arrival of the chief carried by eight strong men on his throne, the ‘Chipaya.’ His arrival triggers great jubilation in the throng, with shouting, ululating and dancing. The chief appears before the crowd with a raised right hand in salutation. A sudden quietness falls upon the people when the chief‘s throne is lowered to the ground in the chief’s shelter. When the chief stands to greet the people with a clap, the crowd has to kneel with a reciprocal in unison. This is followed by a series of incantations performed by some elders after which the silence is broken with drumming. The crowd comes back to life with more singing and dancing with the chief raising his right hand occasionally in appreciation. Various stage performances are presented before the chief. Each type of dance follows its own form of drumming. Hence, the drumming itself is usually enough to tell the type of type of dance to take stage. Perhaps the most colourful one is where young girls dance in front of the chief though there is usually greater applause when the chief starts to attempt a few steps of any dance. Finally, those representing the chief and invited guests give their speeches as the ceremony gets closer to its end. Speeches given usually centre around the themes of hard work, unity and peace. It is not clear how the chief leaves the scene, but it seems he is whisked away amid the most ecstatic moments.

KAIZER CHIEFS GOES FOR HUNT S
outh Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs have a new and highly experienced coach in the name of Gavin Hunt. Hunt aged 56, is a renowned tactician who has landed on the top job after leaving Wits where he spent seven years.
He has replaced German coach Ernst Middendorp, who was dismissed by the Soweto giants last week for unclear reasons. Goal previously reported that Chiefs beat their Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates to Hunt's signature with the experienced coach having recently parted ways with Bidvest Wits. Kaizer Chiefs announced the appointment of Hunt as their new coach through a statement that clearly justified the appointment while detailing the expertise the new coach comes with: "Gavin Hunt has been appointed as the new head coach of Kaizer Chiefs. The Cape Town-born mentor will start his job immediately and his contract will see him take charge of Amakhosi’s first team for the next three seasons." "Hunt brings a wealth of experience since he joined professional football in 1981. The former defender spent most of his playing career at Hellenic FC, for 13 years. He went straight into coaching after hanging up his boots in 1994." "Hunt has an impressive CV and a glittering coaching career, including his first accolade as a coach, having promoted Seven Stars from the First Division Coastal Stream to the elite league. His other accolades include winning the PSL Coach of the Season on five occasions. He has also won the league championship four times with two different teams and has several domestic cup competitions under his belt." Kaizer Motaung, Chiefs’ club chairman told the press why the Naturena-based giants settled for the four-time PSL title-winning coach: “We looked at our situation and our needs before deciding on Gavin. He brings with him an abundance of experience, having coached about five teams in the Premiership. There is success wherever he has coached." The club’s chairman also said the team needs a man who understands the prevailing conditions of the market given the Covid-19 pandemic that has affected almost everything: “Given that the Covid-19 epidemic has forced us to finish the season in the bio-bubble and that the squad will only rest for two weeks before the players return for pre-season, we needed a coach who understands the local market and conditions. "We believe that with Hunt we have brought in a person with the right experience and energy to do just that." Motaung also disclosed that Chiefs have qualified for the next CAF Champions League after finishing second in the 2019/2020 PSL campaign: “Playing on the continent is key for us as we haven’t done as well as we should have. We have players who have participated in the competition and this experience should certainly be to our advantage. “The other thing I have always emphasised is the need for coaches to equip themselves with the requisite knowledge. The game has changed and become much more scientific. “We know Gavin always endeavours to learn more about the game by attending courses both locally and overseas. This knowledge will come in handy to guide our team. We are looking forward to him sharing his experience with the team.” Hunt meets the team for the first time next week when the squad returns to training ahead of the new season. By: Ollus Ndomu

A
s African women, we all share the strength, weekness and beauty, we might seem different in our looks and perspective but we have the same root. The beauty of the melanin skin on every African woman can take your breath away. The kink and curl of our Africa hair that comes in variat colour is overwhelming, we are strong yet taught to be submissive and respective in all our ways, the passion to make other happy and comfortable burns in our heart as we get of our comfort zone to put smile on people’s faces.Previously, we were not given a chance to educate, we were meant to build homes with our husband without any basic education yet they still demand more than the education can ever offer, this is what an African woman has always been and let us not stop because of the challenges before us. We have always been innovative and productive in spite of the little knowledge and information at our disposal. and remains in pursuit of her desire from Jesus. We all can lose our patience, not the case with this woman. How about the seeming insulting response from Jesus? What could he mean by telling the Canaanite woman, "It is not fair to take the children's food and throw it to little dogs"? (v.27) Of course, the Jews have nasty notion about dogs; that means Jesus almost classifies the woman as "outcast". As a stranger from Canaan, the land which God demands Israel to conquer in the Old Testament, she's not part of the "lost sheep of the House of Israel". But this lady perseveres. Perseverance sustains patience, and she seems aware of that. She remains persistent, holds strongly to her faith. She admits her unworthiness before God, “"Please, Lord, for even dogs eat the scraps that fall from the table of their masters" (Matt. 15: 27). Thus, this woman makes her way into the domains of the elect, the house of Israel. It’s like saying to Jesus, “I know, but the patient dog eats the fattest bone”. She doesn't need to belong to the house of Israel in as much as she gets what she wants. Faithful, patient dogs can gain from their master's largesse. The woman of Canaan has the secret to God’s heart, "Woman, you have great faith. Let your desire be granted", so says Christ. Hey, have you been pleading for a long time with no apparent result? Have you let yourself be distracted by opposition, needs and human obstacles? Have you encountered disappointments and thought of an escape other than God? Just follow the lead of the Canaanite woman. Pray, be patient, and persevere. These are the hallmark of faith. Sometimes, they don't come so easy, the same with our requests. Yet, Jesus knows the right time, and will do it for you. Your faith can be stretched a little farther than you imagine, do not give up. Let your desire be granted you. Amen.
The Three Ps of our Faith Journey! "But the woman came and did him homage, saying, "Lord, help me." He said in reply, "It is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs." She said, "Please, Lord, for even the dogs eat the scraps that fall from the table of their masters." Then Jesus said to her in reply, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish." (Matt. 15:25-28).
T
his is an excerpt from the gospel, a passage that challenges us in numerous ways. Can Jesus test us? Can we have our patience stretched to its elastic limit? The Canaanite woman is an example. She's insulted by the disciples, almost forced back from her demand. But she has her eyes constantly fixed upon Jesus and on the miracle, and she finally gets it. In Numbers, chapters 13 and 14, God commands Israel to possess the land of Canaan. Before then, God asks Moses, “You shall send one man from each tribe”, to reconnoiter the land (Numb. 13:1-2). Most of the men on mission come back distracted by the things and persons they saw, and report to Moses, “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan” (Numb. 13: 27-29). That’s like saying that God is not strong enough to save them from the “big” people they are seeing in the land. Three important Ps in our spiritual journey include: Prayer, Patience and Perseverance. Each is vital in our understanding of the faith, and must work with the other for faith to be fruitful. Let’s look at them in relation to the Canaanite woman. Prayer: We can only seduce God through prayer. Think about any prayer greater than the Canaanite woman's in the discourse with Jesus, "Lord, help me". It is an exclamation of both need for God and dependence upon his strength. Prayer is a call for help. Prayer is a request for support from the divine. She keeps calling on Christ to help, to save her dying daughter. That’s all that worries her, that’s all she wants to achieve. It’s as if she knows it will come, possibly at God's time. She focuses all her energy intensely on that. Our prayers can stretch beyond our own time into God’s time. God’s time is the important part of whatever struggle we engage in. That is the Canaanite woman’s secret. Patience: This woman couldn't have sustained the pressure if she isn't patient. Jesus already doesn't say a word to her at the beginning (Matt. 15:23). Then the disciples ask that she be dismissed, yet she isn't deterred. Patience is the ability to remain focused, to be steady and diligent. Patience is the quality of bearing challenges without losing our temper, not being irritated in the face of opposition. The Canaanite woman gets it,
Let's drop our stones and be at peace with God "Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her" (Jn.8:7). This powerful statement from today's gospel speaks to us in one way or another. Not only that it indicts us in our sinful nature but in our judgmental attitudes too. Jesus saves the woman caught in adultery, and implicitly saves us from condemnation. He invites us to look inwards and to avail ourselves the opportunity to repent. Sometimes, we feel like stoning those who have committed crimes around us- our husbands, wives, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and leaders; that's just the truth. Ironically, we sit on crimes, maybe similar or different, but operate on the law of "thou shall not be caught". Jesus invites us to drop our stones. If we drop our stones, we drop our sins. If we drop our stones, we become free. If we drop our stones, we open our hands to receive God's grace. If we drop our stones, we pick up mercy and forgiveness. The stone is a symbol of the hatred, the heaviness in our hearts. So, the statement, "Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her", becomes not necessarily an indictment but an invitation to openness, to turn to the righteuos God. Scripture says, "the standard you use wil be the standard used for you" (Matt.7:2); "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy" (Mt.5:7). We all desire God's mercy. Let's drop our stones and be at peace with God. His love is so strong to let us be condemned.

THE BIAFRA
ROADMAP: My Thesis on Sabotage PART 2 cont
been used to sabotage restoration efforts. Due to the socio-cultural importance of family in Igboland, most of these civil war children, which, traditionally would have been regarded as ‘Bastards’ have integrated with the help of their mothers, and now doing well as a result of their links. Beside this class, there are others who were handpicked due to different reasons to become part of the new elite. Among the political leadership are one of the places you have the most greedy and lunatic Igbo. It is also one of the areas in which non Biafrans point at as a mark of reference when the volume of our cry for marginalisation often get higher. The government of President Goodluck Jonathan readily comes to mind as a yardstick. In accessing the nepotism riddled regime of President Buhari, his predecessor comes into focus. In all these, the Biafran particularly Igbo politician is the worst of all. Defenders of Buhari favouritism of the north often speak of Biafra politicians double tragedy of greed and neglect of their regions. Recall my earlier submission on the core of politicians from these areas, hence the sabotage without remorse. Although there are a handful of politicians who would want to be responsive to the people, but the terrible situation of Nigeria is at odds with their intentions, couple with the fact that they are like sheep in the midst of wolves. Without fear or favour, the cream of Biafra born politicians in the Nigeria political space is comprised of those with shady characters, and their loyalty are not with the people. Elections proper attest to my assertion as their campaigns are mere smokescreens. They are imposed against the will of the people through the pretense that it is will of the people. The post war era has thrown up neocolonialists as our elite, no wonder we see regular criminals, gang of thugs and even those who fought against Biafra openly on the battlefield, become leaders. So how do we expect not to be sabotaged within? Greed is a major factor causing the decline of nationalistic spirit and sabotage among many Biafrans. From multimillion business people, property owners, entertainment magnets and opportunists of the disoriented and disjointed Nigerian market space. I have often informed my audience that Biafrans behave like the Jewish people. Prior to the rise of Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party to power, many Jews ignored the need and nationalists call for a Jewish country. All they wanted was wealth and more of it and forgetting that the best way to safeguard it will only come through a political independence, and as a matter of fact, an Israeli State. The world only looks at Israel’s actions today, but feigns ignorance about the fact that the Holy Land had been occupied by powers, including Islamic empires from time immemorial. For instance, the Christian Bible recorded Roman Governor Pontus Pilate as arbiter during the trial of Jesus Christ, who was sabotaged and sold by a disciple named Judas Iscariot to the Jewish authorities. The Jewish extermination in the gas chambers by Adolf Hitler and his ilk became the catalyst to seek for an immediate action provided by the 2nd World War. Apart from the politicians, we have seen most Biafran moneybags making provocative statements against their people due to their selfish interests and dreams of avarice. Unlike the era of Biafra’s first republic, which collapsed as a result of the invasion by Nigeria with British arms, there are many Saboteurs in virtually all influential sectors. They are groomed by the terrible Nigeria system to derail, by overt or covert, any serious progress by Biafra nationalists. Recently, a well known Billionaire made public statements on how members of the Fulani oligarch gave him contracts and oil blocks worth millions of dollars. He went as far as informing his Igbo listeners that those Fulani, who came all the way from the north, enriched him with the oil in Biafra land. It was the height of stupidity that an elder will be clapping for a stranger who came to give him crumbs from the resources in his motherland. For decades, this particular Billionaire who prides himself a philanthropist keep pitching himself with northern power brokers for personal benefits. And Nigeria being a country where poverty is a tool for governance, this selfish oil-well owner is worshipped by his goons as he does the Fulani oligarch. Some may argue in favour of him being a businessman, but on the contrary, he represents a class of Biafra wealthy who denigrate his people because of personal gains. There are many others who got the contract to do one project or the other in our land, but they embezzled the funds. They are saboteurs engaged in sabotage against the progress of Biafra and its people. What about property owners who are so scared of the emancipation of their people? May be I should use this medium to reassure all those who are scared of losing their properties not to. Why do we have international laws, conventions and treaties? A restored Republic of Biafra will operate a liberal economy, and as such global citizens are welcomed to own properties and companies. We mush desist from unnecessary self inflicted fright about losing our properties. It is sheer illiteracy to think of losing your properties if Biafra is restored. Why would a Biafran property owner tow that line when many of us own such and companies in different companies? This singular thought has hindered many to join this march, and even made others to sit on the fence. This is improper and amount to sabotage. In fact, one of the key goals of Biafra is to restore the dignity of its people, their rights and priviledges, because in Nigeria, these are illusions. The entertainment industry habour a horde of Saboteurs as many entertainers become wary of the Nigeria mainstream media, which have repeatedly laid onslaught against the march towards Biafra. Despite the fact that this industry, particularly the Nollywood section keeps attracting reviews,
the drivers shy aware from doing the needful. Only the liar and those against teaching history to average Nigerians will deny the fact that Nollywood was built on the sweat of hard working Biafrans. Even though they have made frantic efforts to rewrite the story, but we all knew that the Kenneth Nnebue tragic movie –LIVING IN BONDAGE- signalled the beginning of what we know as a successful movie industry that add to pluses to Nigeria. Biafrans in Nollywood must hold their head high as movies and practitioners should continue to make their presence felt. I do not need to start arguing on the doggedness of marketers in Idumota, Iweka and Pound road. The political correctness from interviews of some actors, actresses and filmmakers smack of sabotage to restoring Biafra. However, we recognize many Biafran nationalists among our entertainers, but they must not be drowned by the shameful efforts of Saboteurs. Some important areas, many Biafrans neglect include: the issue of the Osu caste social stratification, marriages and identity conflicts of many living on the periphery clans. The Osu issue is a cancer that quietly divides the Igbo, and must be completely phased out for cohesion. In part 3 of this thesis, I shall make recommendations on total abolition. Many don’t want it discussed, but we must pull the bull by the horn to deter sabotage and maximize benefits from our rare talents and ingenuity. Another issue is marriage, but many may argue against it, making reference to love and choice. I will advise you to read the book of Nehemiah in the Bible, then see what marriages almost did to the Jews when he came back to rebuild the walls and Jerusalem gate. Many who seek the hand of Biafra women in marriage, are borne out of a desire for good family life and success, and to some extent, sabotage our efforts towards marching into our promise land. This trend took off from the civil war and the policies to impoverish us after the Biafra genocide. Notwithstanding our resistance and our aggressive bounce back today, to the chagrin of the invaders, many are still vulnerable to the austerity measures of the Nigerian State. When beautiful Biafra girls graduate without jobs, how will they cope? Capturing our women as wives and fiancés are now like a trophy thing and earns them bragging rights. Many of those we call Osu are now finding emotional succour in the arms of those that detest us in the crust of their hearts. And out of such intercourse, plans of sabotage are hatched and nurtured. What about those that deny their identity, changed their town names, and rewrote the origin of the community? During the war, they suffered untold hardship, no doubt about that, due to the geography of their location. Some of these places were blessed with black gold underneath, but today, it is a curse as the invader came to deceive and devour. Some of their fathers were Saboteurs, but they have seen the reward of sabotage. Today, we have seen it all. Imagine our father’s land that flows with milk and honey, but strangers come from afar to control it and give out crumbs to us when they want. Isn’t that humiliating enough? The fact is that they look great because we are on bended knee, and anytime we rise, we become victorious and take back our land to spread prosperity among our people, and lay good foundation for the oncoming generations. CONT on my recommendations in part 3.
AUBAMEYANG’S COMMITMENT
ELECTRIFY GUNNERS Continues By Ukachukwu Okorie
According to a football fan, “Arsenal for once, have kept a world class player who is also the captain of the club. The captain leaving curse is over!” The Gabon striker who scored in Arsenal's opening game at Fulham last Saturday said, "Signing for this special club was never in doubt." Transfer reports informed that Catalan giants, Barcelona and Internazionale Milan were very much interested in Aubameyang, but the African clearly rebuffed the offers to stay with the London side. Arsenal technical director Edu said: “It's clear Auba loves the club and everything we stand for on and off the pitch. He's obviously a very important part of the team so we're all delighted he has committed his future to us. It's a big boost for everyone - fans, teammates and staff." Aubamayang, who was the Premiership highest goal runner-up announced the extension via a live stream on the club's Instagram and Twitter accounts, before stating his desire to follow in the footsteps of Thierry Henry, Ian Wright, Tony Adams and Dennis Bergkamp to become an Arsenal legend. “Of course I knew about Arsenal before I arrived, everybody knows how special this club is," he said. He also spoke about his desire to do well and stay in the hearts of the Arsenal faithful. "I've seen incredible players. Passionate players. Invincible players. I dream of being one of them, amongst the best, and staying in the hearts of the fans forever”, he said. The 31-year-old striker joined Arsenal FC in January 2018 and won the Premier League Golden Boot in his first full season in 2018-19. Since joining Arsenal, for a club-record £56m, Pierre Aubameyang has scored 72 goals in 111 appearances in all competitions. In 86 Premier League appearances, he has scored 55 goals and made 12 assists. The Gabonese paid glowing tribute to his father, who inspires him. "My dad is my biggest inspiration and he was captain of his club and his country, so it means so much to me to be the captain of this special club. I want to leave a legacy, this is where I belong. This is my family." Aubameyang, who was made the 2015 African Footballer of the Year, became captain in November after Granit Xhaka was stripped of the role by Mikel Arteta's predecessor Unai Emery. So far, he has lifted the FA cup and Community Shield as captain, a feat Thierry Henry could not achieve. Goodluck Gunners!
