About the AFS Argentina University Programs The AFS University Program is a semester-long course created for those international students who besides learning Spanish, believe it is important to learn what makes Latin America, and more specifically Argentina, the way it is. This program is recommended for those students who are focusing their studies in the region or for those who simply acknowledge its significance in history and its potential in the future
Program structure The program is divided in two parts, with the option to choose between public o private universities: 1) Spanish language course The two weeks Language course offers international students the possibility to study Spanish in an approachable and practical way. Courses are divided into levels according to the student’s knowledge 2) Academic content Choose the academic program that best suits your college degree and general elective needs. We recommend students to choose no more than 3 or 4 (in addition to the Spanish course) of the subjects offered by the Universities.

OPTION 3
CUI presents its brand new Study Abroad Program, a combined syllabus encompassing a variety of fields of study and area contents to suit the demand of international students worldwide. Each individual program allows students to take courses either in English or Spanish, and to enroll for a full semester. Since adaptability is another of CUI’S features, tailor made courses are available. CUI will issue a transcript upon program completion for both Academic and Spanish language courses. Credits are not granted by CUI, except for Spanish language teaching

The UBA was founded 12th August 1821 . At present, is one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America with over 6650 teachers and more than 100.800 students characterized by its strong commitment with society. Each Faculty has a management made up of the Dean and the Superior Board. The latter is composed of eight teacher representatives, four graduate representatives and four student representatives.

Spanish Lenguage in UBA The Language Laboratory of the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy offers courses for learning various modern languages (English, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Japanese). Courses of Spanish as a Foreign Language have been offered since 1991 with cohorts which have reached 900 students per year
Sports in UBA The University of Buenos Aires has a 185.000 mt2 sport campus inside Ciudad Universitaria with about 8.000 members - including teachers, students and graduates. Around 35.000 people participate in different sports events every year.

About the city of Córdoba Córdoba is a city located in the geographical center of Argentina, about 700 km (435 mi) northwest of Buenos Aires. It is the capital of Córdoba Province and the second largest city in Argentina after the autonomous city of Buenos Aires. It was founded on 6 July 1573 and it was one of the first Spanish colonial capitals of the region that is now Argentina. Córdoba is home to one of the most important financial districts in South America. Sightseeing places include San Martín Square, the Jesuit Block (declared UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the Genaro Pérez Museum.

This semester program is designed for students who want an international experience or want to supplement their training, through a semester of studying in Argentina, without losing the current semester at their own university. It is open to students of any university in the world, graduates and professionals from different areas who wish to incorporate a comparative advantage into their training, as is studying in Argentina.
