Remove and replace existing 260 ton chiller with new Trane 300 ton centrifugal ton chiller, Model no. CVHE0400. Replace existing primary chilled water pumps with new pumps sized to match the capacity of the new chiller. Contractor will be responsible for the removal of the existing chiller equipment, chilled water pumps and incidental piping and equipment as per plans and specifications. Any demolition is to be selective, only removing what is necessary to complete the removal and installation process for the equipment specified to be removed and replaced. Contractor will be responsible for removing and reinstallation of the security grating that will provide access to the equipment to be replaced. Upon removal of the security grating, the Contractor is required to secure the opening to the equipment room from the exterior with 1/2” plywood and 2” X 4” framing material at the end of work each day. Contractor will be responsible for removal of the existing chiller in a manner that meets all codes and state regulatory requirements. Contractor will be responsible for providing delivery of the new chiller to the job site, lift equipment, placement and setting, pumps, panels, any required piping, electrical, mounting of panels, bolting, welding, commissioning and start-up of equipment, training, providing any required spare parts, warranties. Upon completion, job site is to be clean, in order, in good condition, better than encountered upon arrival. Fullerton Creek Channel from 350 feet downstream of Western Avenue to approximately 130 feet upstream of Dale Street will undergo major improvement to convey the ultimate 100-year storm design discharge. entails removal of the existing north side wall and the false invert and reconstruction of the north side wall to the same grade elevation of the existing south side wall. Improvements from Beach Boulevard to Dale Street primarily consist of removal of the existing trapezoidal section and its replacement with a concrete UChannel of a lowered elevation. This second phase of the project traverses below the bridges of the Interstate 5 Freeway, below an adjoining railroad bridge, and an oil line bridge. The project will also involve relocation or realignment of existing subterranean utility lines that impact the proposed channel invert elevation. The channel passes through portions of the cities of Fullerton, Anaheim, Buena Park, and La Palma
