ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Jordi Baltà Portolés works as a consultant and researcher at Trànsit Projectes, a cultural management company based in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona. He is also an advisor on culture and sustainable cities at the Committee on Culture of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) and a member of the UNESCO Expert Facility for the implementation of the 2005 Convention on the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. He teaches at the International Relations of Blanquerna – Universitat Ramon Llull (URL) and is a PhD candidate at the universities of Girona and Melbourne. ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Herman Bashiron Mendolicchio is a researcher, writer and curator, working across different disciplines, territories and cultures. He holds an international PhD in “Art History, Theory and Criticism” from the University of Barcelona. He is a Lecturer at the Cultural Management Programme of the University of Barcelona, and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Course on International Cultural Cooperation. His practice and research explores the topics of art in public space and the broader interactions between contemporary creation and transnational relations.
Marje Brütt works for the Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft (KuPoGe), the German Association for Cultural Policy. She is part of the Creative Europe Desk Culture, the German contact point for the EU programme Creative Europe, which is also run by the KuPoGe. She assists German cultural and creative organisations to understand Creative Europe as well as further EU programmes and helps them to apply for funding. She graduated from the Erasmus Mundus Master Euroculture – Society, Politics and Culture in a Global context. Thereby, she mainly focused on exploring the mutual interplay of sustainable development and culture in Polish cities and their cultural policies.
