Grus draws inspiration from the elegant and nimble crane - which also gives its name to the constellation - in its characteristic pose on the verge of flight. The slender lines of its body are exalted in space by perfect, geometric harmony.

Grus prende ispirazione dall’elegante e longilineo volatile - che dà nome anche alla piccola costellazione - di cui ricorda la caratteristica posa in procinto di spiccare il volo. Nella lampada da terra disegnata da Alberto Saggia e Valerio Sommella, l’esile linearità del corpo si staglia nello spazio, in perfetta e geometrica armonia.

Designed by Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella, this floor lamp features an offcenter light spot and a slender geometric structure made of powder coated metal. Its frame is composed of two parts hinged on one another, held by a metallic cable that runs parallel to the structure and is fixed to the rhomboid base. The powder coated metal is available in an elegant graphite grey finish while the large fabric diffuser comes in white, red wine, and sage finishes.

Lampada da terra con punto luce decentrato caratterizzata da un'esile struttura geometrica realizzata in lamiera verniciata. La struttura portante è divisa in due parti imperniate una sull’altra, tenute in tensione da un cavo metallico che scorre parallelo ad essa, fissato alla base romboidale. La lamiera verniciata è disponibile nell’elegante finitura grigio grafite mentre il grande diffusore in tessuto è disponibile nelle finiture bianco, rosso vino e salvia.
