Mahogany was named Canada’s community development of the year in 2014. Mahogany offers many of the same conveniences. It is also close to many major transportation routes such as Stoney Trail, Deerfoot Trail, and 52nd Street SE. Mahogany is absolutely stunning and has heavy community focus on its many beaches. The Mahogany Beach Club is the largest community centre of the four communities in Seton South and is great for special events and functions. Many executive homes can be found on the gated island with private docks, large lots and easy beach access from your own backyard. Westman Village is an absolutely beautiful multi-family complex that highlights the community bordered by one of the many beaches the area has to offer. This resort like complex offers residents waterfront condominiums up to 2,573 sq ft. South Health Campus is closely located in the neighbouring community of Seton. This state-of-the-art facility is Calgary’s newest and most advance health centre and supports almost all communities in south Calgary. Mahogany’s Central Beach site is the home of the community’s grand Beach Club, where residents have exclusive access to sandy beaches, a splash park, tennis courts, play equipment, a fishing pier and non-motorized marina, indoor and outdoor fitness equipment, barbeque pits, a hockey rink and more. The 22,000 sq.ft. Beach Club facility hosts a wide range of activities including educational and recreational programs, meetings and private functions. Purposefully designed as the focal point for the community, the Beach Club also includes a dedicated skate room, full-size gymnasium, multiple meeting rooms, plentiful storage and shower facilities. As a gathering place that will be beloved for generations, the Mahogany Beach Club is a place of shared laughter and joy, where neighbours gather year-round to enjoy the best of four-season lake living.
