Country Hills, Coventry Hills, Harvest Hills and Panorama Hills anchor the Northern Hills area in Calgary’s northwest. These four areas are very similar with Panorama being the largest and most popular neighbourhood. These four neighbourhoods share the same amenities which can be found along Country Hills Blvd NW and Harvest Hills Blvd NW. This space is called the Country Hills Village and includes a large Recreation Centre, Public Library, Landmark Movie Theatre, large high school, and many popular retailers such as Home Depot, Winners, Michaels, Canadian Tire and more.

Located north of Stoney Trail, you will find the communities of Carington, Evanston, Kincora, Livingston, Nolan Hill, Sage Hill, Sage Meadows, Symons Gate and Sherwood. These communities have many great things going for it. For one, they are constantly expanding, creating new developments and modern amenities you would expect in any suburban area. Carrington and Livingston are the newest of the neighbourhoods and have master planned future developments for residents to enjoy. Evanston is the largest area north of Stoney Trail and once completed, will be the second largest community in the city. Sherwood and Sage Meadows are more prestigious neighbourhoods with large executive homes throughout. Sage Hill, Nolan Hill, and Symons Gate provide many medium sized housing options, parks, playgrounds, trails and more.

Rocky Ridge, Royal Oak, and Tuscany are located to the West of Stoney Trail and close to other major transport routes such as Crowchild Trail and Country Hills Blvd. These areas share a major shopping centre called Crowfoot Crossing. There you will find almost every big name retailer including Rona, Chapters, Sport Chek, Schanks Sports Bar, Cineplex Odeon and more. Homes in the area are of the mixed variety, but offer many diverse options for all potential buyers. Rocky Ridge is the home of the new rec centre.

All in all, the Northern Hills has so many great things going for it. Stunning hillside views, many paths, parks, playgrounds, shopping centres, outdoor, and indoor recreation, golf courses, and so much more make this area one of the best suburban spots in the city.
