WILD EMERY

The genesis story of Wild Emery is a simple one - the pursuit of good quality natural soap without unneccessary additives. In 2021 founder Beth began hand making soaps that were good for the planet and the body. These became popular with friends and family and so began her business growth and evolution to include bath bombs, shower steamers, lip balms and more. Edith and Geoff established the company in 1989 and their products originate from all over Mexico. Each region has its own individual style, colour palette, technique and materials. All pieces are handcrafted using traditional methods by Mexican artisans in an environment where art and craft are deeply embedded in the culture.

BELOVED SCENTS

Gifts don’t get more original than AGHA member Beloved Scents’ Candtailscandles in cocktail glassware. Amie from Beloved Scents has been hand making a range of candles for many years, however, whilst sales were quiet during covid, she took on work as a cleaner in a local pub. The inspiration for her new Candtails range struck when Amie saved a large amount of unused glassware that was destined to be thrown out during pub renovations. What began as one box of Pina Colada Candtails, lead to a sensational range of 7 different cocktail inspired candles.

Launched at AGHA Sydney Gift Fair 2023 to great interest, the range is now in over 40 stores Australia-wide. Every wax berry and mint leaf used is also handcrafted by the team and the candles are Australian Made certified too - cheers to that!
