We would like to start by thanking our new customers in 2022 for your interest in our program and thank you to our past and returning customers for the unwavering support and loyalty. Our customer’s satisfaction has always been very important to us. Switching to offering our bulls to private treaty over the last few years has been very rewarding. This is our largest offering to date but with that we feel it carries the most depth of quality as well.

The Charolais business has been a passion of ours for many years; with over 40 years of breeding quality Charolais cattle carrying the HRJ prefix. We have emphasized calving ease, vigor, functionality, superior growth and feed-ability. Calves need to hit the ground on their own and get going in a hurry; the faster out of the gate the quicker to the finish line. In a business where you get paid by the pound the cattleman needs to have cattle that grow; performance is key in a terminal breed. Another piece of our program we take a lot of pride in is that we finish majority of our own steers, this gives us and the prospective buyers great outlook at what our bulls will do for the commercial cattleman in terms of feed-ability, cutability and gradeability. Our bulls are bred to work as hard as you do.

We welcome you to look through the bulls and find the one that fit your needs. The bulls are always able for viewing at the farms, located just a few miles from Barrhead. As always, our bulls are fed a TMR ration consisting or cereal silage, oats, alfalfa, and a mineral pack with longevity in mind.
