New Greenham program offers price premiums for beef on dairy calves

The Greenham Dairy Beef Program (GDBP) has been developed in partnership with domestic and international customers to provide a long-term, valuable pathway for beef on dairy calves. The program requires calves to be raised according the NEVER EVER and Certiﬁed Humane® program requirements, aligning with consumer values around animal welfare and premium quality, natural grassfed beef.

Cattle that have been raised on program-accredited farms can be marketed under the GDBP from 150kg weaned calves through to heavier weights. Price premiums are offered for beef on dairy calves bred using Approved Genetics. For more information and to become accredited, scan the QR code.
