NEW RELEASE SIRES FOR SPRING 2024
TAIMATE ROY R38 is a new release New Zealand sire for Spring 2024. He was initially selected by a syndicate of astute Australian breeders back in 2022. His first sons will sell in Australia this Spring and his semen can now be offered on the open market for the first time from the 1st of September which has been highly anticipated. Roy’s Dam is undoubtedly one of the premier brood cows in New Zealand, she has already had sons enter registered breeding programs by multiple sires, selling for $30,000 to $54,000 and continues to breed as a strong rising 9-year-old.
RENNYLEA T17 is a new release sire to the Agri-Gene lineup who is a son of Moogenilla Quinella Q33 and maternal brother to Rennylea L519. Quinella Q33 sons have been highly sought after at recent sales showing heavy muscling, ample capacity with depth of flank and strong spine, this has been recognised recently where he topped the Booragul Bull sale at $75,000.
As an individual T17 is very sound footed with great heal depth; having scored straight 5’s for feet and legs. He is free-moving, has a great disposition, slick skinned with ample shape. However, perhaps the most impressive thing about T17 may be the maternal strength that his pedigree brings. His Dam has been one of the most productive cows at Rennylea with over 150 registered progeny, so far 45 sons have sold for a gross of $560,000 and averaged $12,444.
The next Dam C310 was active in the Rennylea herd until 15 years of age with near-perfect feet & udder confirmation.
