In an industry that continues to develop, AgSolutions has focused on the growing demand for a Program approach towards addressing soil structural or nutritional constraints in both livestock nutrition and all aspects of farming. AgSolutions has the insight to also manufacture products for soil (mineral fertilisers and soil amendments) and livestock nutrition products/supplements. AgSolutions also manufactures a range of products that are allowed inputs for both the Australian and USDA Organic market. POSITION OVERVIEW AgSolutions is committed to working closely with our farming clients and end users through our networks of Rural Store partners and other Supplier companies. The Field Advisor is required to possess comprehensive knowledge of soil, crops, pastures, forages, and livestock nutrition, and farm management practices, and demonstrate excellent communication skills with key clients (Rural Stores and Farmers) to ensure the effective promotion of AgSolutions’ products and services. The Field Advisor is directly responsible for service and product sales within a geographical area and implement effective sales and marketing practices to ensure sales and performance targets are achieved. The Position will involve sales calls to existing and potential clients, developing strong relationships with and providing training and merchandising support to rural stores staff, and participating in agricultural shows, field days, and trade presentations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Field Advice • Ensure comprehensive knowledge of soil, crops, pastures, forages, and/or livestock nutrition to enable the provision of trusted advice on farm management practices. • Work collaboratively to prepare soil and livestock nutrition programs that add value and sound advice to our farming clients. •

Maintain current knowledge of relevant Company, Industry and Legislative requirements.

Sales • Be proactive in identifying new sales opportunities. • Build trust and ensure a positive Customer experience by providing monitoring and follow up support during the sales process. • Develop Key Reseller Annual Partnership Plans as part of building relationships and business growth. • Build and maintain strong and sustainable relationships with key clients to promote our Company’s products and services. Incidental and Peripheral Tasks •

All Team Members shall perform, if or as required by AgSolutions Australia, a wider range of duties, including work which is incidental or peripheral to their main tasks or functions provided that such duties are reasonably within the limits of the Team Member’s skill, competence and training.

A strong understanding of and a passion for the agricultural industry, possessing comprehensive knowledge of soil, crops, pastures, forages and livestock nutrition, and farm management practices. Demonstrated strong ethical character, with at least 2 years’ experience in an agronomist/livestock nutrition sales role. A structured and strategic approach to creating new sales with a proven track record of success in new business development. Excellent rapport building and strong communication and networking skills. A highly professional and self-motivated attitude with demonstrated ability to work in an autonomous capacity. Demonstrated ability to identify and/or contribute positively and creatively to the solution of problems. Intermediate word processing and spreadsheet application skills (ability to maintain an enterprise database and prepare sales reports).

Essential Qualifications

Travel is an essential requirement of this Position and as such candidates need to hold an open and unrestricted motor vehicle licence. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.

Desirable Qualifications •

Degree in Agricultural Science / Agronomy / Livestock Nutrition.

Other Requirements •

A Federal Police check may be undertaken on persons recommended for employment.
