2. SOME PROJECTS AS A STUDENT //Free the ripple
STARTING POINT This project was tailored for Tanta Roba Records, an italian independent label focusing on Hip-hop and underground music, based in Milan. Their main focus are live shows, which represent a consistent part of the label’s work and income.
Main artists from Tanta Roba label COVID-19 shuted-down live performances and it had a huge impact on the italian music industry, with estimated losses of around 600 million euros and 370.000 unemployed, by the end of summer 2020. Despite the negative aspects, COVID-19 exposed a need to innovate on new ways of experiencing live performances that has to be as strong as the traditional one.
“The trend in live performances is that of creating more engagement with the audience through sensory experiences, rather than interactions.” Gue Pequeno (owner of Tanta Roba)

VISION
FREE THE RIPPLE Free the Ripple is a service thought for the New Normal, that offers a third option between live music events and streaming. It is composed by one main traditional concert, The Source, and its projected replication, The Ripple, in different small cities around the country, where synergy is created with a network of local stakeholders that support the main service. Free the Ripple aims at proposing a new future for live performances enhancing the sense of community among the audience, considered as a key element of music events.
It expands and democratizes the accessibility to concerts, it helps artists to reach new audiences, and it provides new business opportunities to smaller cities.

JULIANA DECORA TU PELO

1. SOME PROJECTS AS A PROFESSIONAL // Juliana decora tu pelo
PRODUCT Juliana decora tu pelo was created for girls who like to play with their look and try new things. The product was thought in two versions: a smaller one, and a bigger one, more complete. It is a suitcase with a lot of supplies which create a rich environment to play and try different things on their hair. The concept is to provide tools to play, with no directions or instructions. We wanted girls to be as creative as they wanted and to estimulate their imaginations

PRODUCT This product is targeted to teenagers and pre teenagers. After researching we found out that kids stop playing too early, and girls even more. Toys had been replaced with new technology, and kids are more likely to play with cellphones, tablets or computers. This line was created for hook girls again and make them re discover how nice is to keep on playing. The line was created taking into account the different profiles girls have: creative, sport, glam and technology with some gadgets. This line was developed on two stages: first one a national line, with all the production made in Argentina, and to complete the line and imported one.
