WELCOME ABOARD, and on behalf of my more than 80,000 coworkers, thanks for choosing United Airlines for your fl ight today.

On October 1, 2010, Continental Airlines merged with a subsidiary of UAL Corp, and Continental and United Airlines became subsidiaries of the same holding company, United Continental Holdings, Inc. Working together, we are creating the world’s leading airline. While it will take over a year for us to obtain a single operating certifi cate from the Federal Aviation Administration so we can operate as one airline, we’re already working hard on implementing our integration plan to bring the benefi ts to you as quickly as possible.

For example, Mileage Plus and OnePass elite members now enjoy preferred seating and upgrades on both carriers’ aircraft, and Red Carpet Club members and guests now enjoy complimentary alcoholic beverages and wireless access. We will announce many more benefi ts for you over the coming months.

We’re also improving your travel experience by giving you more fl ight options. We already offer the best network in the world. With the increased traffi c fl ows from our merger, we will also add new routes between our hubs and communities around the globe.

Most importantly, we’re focused on creating a working-together culture of dignity, respect, and direct, open and honest communication among our coworkers and you, our customers. This culture will result in great customer service. The new United will be an airline that my coworkers want to work for, and that you will want to fl y. I ask your patience as we meld these two great airlines together, but I’m confi dent you will like the result when we’re done.

On behalf of the entire team at the new United, welcome aboard, and thanks for fl ying with us today.
