GETTING TO KNOW YOU
DANIEL CASAMASSINA / 20 WHY I’M TRAVELING / I’m heading home to Newark, New Jersey, for the summer. I have a job lined up as a counselor at a day camp. Working with kids is a lot of fun—way better than a real job.
MY PREFLIGHT RITUAL / I take a picture out the window every time I fl y. I’ve probably taken about fi fty pictures. Every time it’s a little bit different.
NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT
My skateboard. Whenever I can, I travel with my skateboard. I’m always scared it’ll break, so I never check it. It takes me a lot of time to get through security.
