His interest in sustainable urban development started back during his academic studies in 2016. As he was responsible for empowering people in-need through implementing social projects that aimed to achieve sustainable social change in Enactus. This was his first step to interact with national institutions e.g. local ministries and international organizations. This opened the door for him in 2017 to be part of Ezbet Project team, an academic collaboration project between the University of Stuttgart and Ain Shams University. He has also been part of sustainable development NGOs in Egypt. He got more recognition of sustainable development after winning several awards. And he could see the human dimension behind sustainable urban development, by tracing his Nubian community’s cultural, social and economic patterns after the displacement happened to the Nubians in 1964s. As he was involved in a group bachelor thesis through which he could develop a research methodology of Interviews, intensive research and site visits throughout the semester. He had an experience at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, 2018 leading national and international students to design and construct an exhibition for Ezbet Project.
