Brief: - The project is a museum of architectural heritage. I chose this because Cairo is full of architectural heritage and most of this heritage is abandoned and none care about it. So, this project is for documenting the undocumented buildings (documentation center) and to exhibit the magnificent architectural heritage of cairo Night Shot
(museum). There will be also an academy to educate peoplehow to save the heritage and preserve old buildings and how to document heritage scientifically.
Why Shahid? - I used Shahid (witness) as a title for this project because: · The site was always a witness to the evolution of Cairo’s architecture through ages. · The project will be a witness of the beauty and greatness of Cairo’s architectural heritage.

Every lightwell cinsists of 2 main parts: -The bottom part is the museum exhibiting pieces related to specific era of Cairo`s history. Museum - The top part is the academy. Every lightwell has an academy educating science related to the era which the is museum talking about.

- The main concept is to make maximum use of north orientation for educational spaces, so the project consists of two main linear buildings (each one has a long side with educational spaces oriented to the north) with bridges between them to connect the whole project.

Vision: revival of the values of historical Cairo to make the project an (entertainment, - The
tourism and sports) attraction core by making use of natural elements there.
Contour
Strategy : - The main road divides the area into 4 clusters with different levels. - The first cluster is Residential Apartments for athletes each apartment overlooks the sea. - The second cluster contains all Services. It contains main piazzas connected to eachother by pedestrian walkways. It is connected to the sea through a pedestrian bridge. - The third cluster contains all the Stadiums and playgrounds which are oriented to north-south.The stadiums are on different levels. Everyone can see the sea from his place. -The fourth cluster is a big Sports Hall for main sports events.
