DESIGN OF AN OFFICE BUILDING The concept is shaped upon the weathering and erosion of the project site. The building is carved into the earth from the natural forces of the location, such as the sun path, wind direction and earth. The building is therefore, as would be in nature, efficient and makes use of the complete context and natural resources it is located within.
DESIGN STUDIO III - YEAR 3 STUDIO ON ENVIRONOMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY
MUSEUM ON THE SQUARE
This monumental museum is located in Tahrir square where the 25th of January Egyptian Revolution took place. A concept model was first produced to mimic the feelings and experiences that are intended to be transmitted to the user throughout the journey through the building. The journey and experience is based on the timeline of the tragic events that took place on the square.

ADDITION TO BALY ART MUSEUM Designing an extension to the Arts Museum at the University of Virginia Campus, with the requirement of a Black Box Theatre. Concept is based on the alleys of the old city of Cairo, and the experience sensed as you walk through a city that has overlaid topographies and buildings thought the years.
DESIGN STUDIO V - YEAR 4 EXCHANGE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA, USA

THE HARLEM EDGE,NEW YORK This project is located in Harlem, which when compared to the Rest of Manhattan, is considered a neglected area. Therefore, the aim of the building is to create a landmark to the district in the hopes to connect it back to New York City and surroundings. The project therefore, consists of literal architectural “windows� to New Jersey, the sky above, and the water below. Field trips were conducted to the site during course of the studio
CINEMA RADIO RESTORATION Cinema Radio, an Art deco building in old Cairo was the building allocated For this studio project. I chose to transform this building to a cultural arena in which movies, can be premiered and showcased, hence strengthening the cinema industry through this platform. The building was designed to accommodate such events through zoning the building accordingly, from entry to exit with the appropriate activity, for an efficient one way circulation. Features hatched in red on the plans (pictures below) were conserved and admired through lighting and visual extraction by eliminating surrounding blockwork.
DESIGN STUDIO VI - YEAR 4 DESIGNING IN HISTORICAL CONTEXTS
FAMILY ENGAGEMENT CENTER, AL-FUSTAT | OLD CAIRO The research topic for this Thesis + Design Studio was Street Children. Research on the issue has directed to a major source of the problem, being the family. Years of poverty and societal neglect have lead these families to abandon their offspring. This leads their children to escape to the street in search for the attention they lack. Yet, only exposed to the harsh wildernes of the society in which the living conditions have caused them to become violent in order to survive. “Create architecture that encourages family bonding as a means to prevent the children from escaping to the Street and becoming violent individuals� (project statement)

DARGON CITY EXPANSION - DUBAI
SAWARI MARINA, SAHL HASHISH - HURGADA, RED SEA
THIS MEGA-PROJECT CONSISTS OF 4 BUILDINGS: RESIDENTIAL TOWERS, 2 SHOPPING MALLS AND A FURNITURE SHOWROOM. THE PROJECTS WERE DELIVERED AS SCHEMATIC AND FINAL DESIGN PACKAGES.
A PROPOSAL AND EXECUTIVE SUMMARY WAS CONDUCTED ON THIS PROJECT IN ORDER FOR A DECISION TO BE CONDUCTED FOR THE TENDERING OF DESIGN DEVELOPMENT.

THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF 4 MIDRIDE SERVICED APARTMENT BUILDINGS THAT ARE PLACED ON A PODIUM WITH RETAIL SPACES ON THE GROUND LEVEL. CONCEPT REPORT AND DRAWINGS WERE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH COORDINATION WITH THE INTERIOR AND LANSCAPE CONSULTANT, PERKINS AND WILL.
RIU RESORT, DEIRA ISLAND - DUBAI A 4-STAR RESORT LOCATED ON DEIRA ISLAND IN DUBAI. WORKING DIRECTLY WITHTHE HOTEL MANAGMENT AND DEVELOPER TO SUBMIT FINAL DESIGN FOR THE BUILDING.
