Parent-Tot Spanish 9mos-6 yrs
Begin the day with your toddler singing and dancing to songs in Spanish! Learn Spanish greetings, colors, numbers, parts of the body, animal and food words. (EE)
I Speak Spanish! 3-6 yrs
Introduce your child to the Spanish language in this Spanish immersion class developed especially for very young learners. Children will be immersed in the Spanish language through fun and educational activities and music. New material is covered in each session! (EE)
Vámonos Youth Spanish 7-11 yrs
Learning a second language can open a world of possibilities for your child. In this class students will learn Spanish conversation and some Spanish grammar, reading, and writing skills through interactive and engaging activities. New and exciting material each session! (EE)
Parents Night Out 3-6 yrs
Drop of your little ones at Camelot Park for a night full of fun! Children will have the option to participate in games, crafts, and other activities planned by our certified babysitters. (EE)
Magic Workshop 5-12 yrs
Children are guaranteed to have a great time as they learn a collection of fascinating and mesmerizing tricks from the “Magic Team of Gary Kantor”! Amaze family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind-reading, and more. (EE)
Chess Scholars 5-13 yrs
Develop your child’s intellect through the royal game of chess! Each class will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will get to the next level under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach. There will also be a chess competition with prizes at the end of the session. (EE)
Amazing Minds Traveling Around the World! 7-8 yrs
Amazing Minds is traveling around with the Arlington Heights Park District! Your kids will cross oceans and continents to Italy, China, New York, Australia and Chicago to celebrate creativity and encourage imagination! (EE)
Home Alone Safety 9+
Participants will learn all about home alone safety including: safe snacks, household rules, stranger danger, house key safety, phone, fire and weather safety. They will also learn basic first aid and “what if” scenarios. Additionally, we will review emergency contacts, and knowing when to contact emergency professionals. (EE)

This self-esteem lab experience offers incredibly fun activities and games to boost our children’s gifts and talents the 2021/2022 school year. Everyone is good at something; we just have to roll up our sleeves and figure it out. (EE)
Glitzy Girlz: Father Daughter Summer Kickoff Night 3-10 yrs
Bring your daughter for a couple’s night out to kick off the beginning of summer! Each couple will design and decorate a ceramic Tea Cup Flower Planter and supplied seeds. A beautiful summer anklet/ bracelet will be designed together. Join us for a surprise activity to top off the evening! (EE)
Glitzy Girlz: Sparkle Back to School 3-10 yrs
Children will design fun school items like backpacks/ bags and pencil cases full of sparkle. Each child will also design a sparkly, beautiful necklace or bracelet to accessorize their first day of school outfit. A sparkle keepsake goodie is given as well. See you at the back of the classroom! (EE)
Tropical Island S.T.E.M Science Lab 6-13 yrs
Step into the ultimate S.T.E.M. lab experience as your kids are whisked away for 60 minutes to enjoy marine and island life. (EE)
All Twisted Up Hot Pretzel Party 6-13 yrs
The last 15 months have had us all feeling twisted up much like the beloved hot pretzel! These deliciously doughy, chewy, perfectly salted snacks are an American favorite at home and theme parks. We will enjoy customizing a hot pretzel to show that we do have the power to change anything we want in our life to make it sweet when we feel a little loopy. (EE)
The Thrills and Chills of the Ice Cream Business 6-13 yrs
Kids can become experts on this billion dollar industry as they make a batch of homemade ice cream. Also, explore the science and history of the beloved amusement park treats, Dippin’ Dots, waffle cones, and the first novelty ice cream bar, the Eskimo Pie. (EE)
Babysitting 11-14 yrs
Learn to be a super sitter! Classes will cover child development, emergency and first aid training, activities to do with young children, and how to grow your personal babysitting business. (EE)

Second Saturday Maker’s Open House 18+
The Museum invites makers of all shapes and sizes—artists, painters, sculptors, whatever— to come out and be inspired by our space. Our beautiful gardens and grounds, historic building architecture and interiors, and artifact collections are all at your disposal to motivate you in your creative outlet, with one of our staff members on hand to add a little historical context to your experience. This is a casual creative environment, where we encourage anyone, from those just trying out a new hobby to lifelong artists, to produce fun works of creativity. This program is BYOS (bring your own supplies), though we do have some basics on hand for general use. (LS)
