legend, this was the text that adorned the Pillars of Hercules. The pillars were located near the Strait of Gibraltar and marked the boundary between the known and the unknown world.

A.H. Riise Rum has given this highly-esteemed name to our best and most outstanding ultra premium rum. Only the finest drops, from the oldest and best casks, have been used in the creation of this ultimate rum from A.H. Riise.

The A.H. Riise Non Plus Ultra Black Edition has a further cask finish using special charred oak casks. After burning the inside of old oak casks, the charred interior comes in direct contact with the rum for the first time. The charred casks and the Non Plus Ultra rum together creates the Non Plus Ultra Black Edition.

NON PLUS ULTRA is our master blender's "piece de resistance" – his ultimate creation. Everything from the faceted carafe, to the deep mahogany glow and the final enjoyment of the rum, nothing is left to chance. This is sublime, and we can hardly reach much higher.

Peach and milk chocolate, butterscotch, followed by lightly roasted Christmas spices
