his anniversary edition has been especially created to celebrate 175 years of our founding father A.H. Riise’s finest rums. Our master blender really has produced a truly magical rum using some of the oldest and most precious casks our cellars hold.

At the heart is a rare 21-year-old rum we have been holding back for this special occasion and which has been perfectly blended with its slightly younger, resilient brothers. Aged at low temperatures with high humidity in deep, dark cellars, we have successfully created the very best conditions for the delicate aging process. Re-casked in PX and Oloroso sherry casks, these have infused the rum with impressions of a dark, sweet sherry. This really is a rum that is worthy of such a momentous anniversary. A.H. Riise 175 Years Anniversary Rum was produced for the first time in 2013, exactly 175 years after A.H. Riise opened the doors of his pharmacy on the Island of St. Thomas in the Danish West Indies for the very first time.
