University of South Florida College of Nursing TRANSFORMING HEALTHCARE, TRANSFORMING LIVES CREATING THE NURSING LEADERS OF TOMORROW AND THE RESEARCH THAT IMPROVES HEALTH

Be a Leader in Nursing Anesthesia! Nurse anesthetists (or Certified Registers Nurse Anesthetists - CRNAs) practice in every setting in which anesthesia is delivered, from traditional hospital surgical settings to primary care and specialty healthcare clinics. CRNAs are the sole anesthesia providers in nearly half of all hospitals and more than two-thirds of the rural hospitals in the United States. Nurse anesthetists break barriers by providing anesthetics for U.S. military and Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare facilities, as well as 100 percent of all anesthetics for the United States Army frontline facilities. Make a difference to patients across the nation and the armed services as a Nurse Anesthetist with an master’s nursing degree from USF!
