AI has proven its great potential and is a game-changer in space exploration. The technology has the ability to chart unnoted galaxies, stars, black holes, and study cosmic events. The European Space Agency’s RAT rover navigates around obstacles by autonomously finding its way across ‘unknown’ fields. Intelligent data transmission software onboard Mars rovers remove human scheduling errors, which can otherwise cause valuable data to be lost. This increases the useful data that is gathered from our planetary neighbour and improves our space exploration endeavours.
