INTRODUCTION The project is an affordable, green urban development located at the central business district in Kuching aiming to cater for users of b40 and m40 income groups. In line with the rising of covid-19 cases all over the globe, designers began to propose ‘contact free’ ‘isolating’ and flexible designs in order to comply with the pandemic restrictions of the new norm. Lockdown situations have impacted people both physically and mentally. Therefore the project aims to resolve this by bridging the gap between the inside and the outside world through horticulture, where property owners can grow their own food supply during a crisis as well as participate in gardening activities as a way to improve overall mental health and well-being while also preserving the spirit of a community living at safe distances.

IDEAS AND CONCEPT

ISSUES OF MUSEUM

SITE ANALYSIS

Creating experience and memory Sometimes, senses also lead to imagination. Think of a time when you read a fictional story. Your perception of sound, space, characters, or things in the story is only through sensory experiences and memories. SENSORIUM is a museum that based on Your imagination or sometimes Your past experiences. Inexperienced sound creates imagination . Imagination helps you grow and create an imaginary but memorable experience. Historical centres in Malaysia have neglected to draw in youngsters because of the way that the designs of displays are still in the old or conventional. Individuals are not educated in history and are increasingly keen on the advancement of innovation science. The historical centre displays the old fortune and notoriety, the less appealing and less praiseworthy shows of movement operators or traveller guides. Furthermore, there is less upkeep and fix and non-inexhaustible presentation ideas, non-expanded show materials and inadequate ancient rarities. (Maznah Mohd Arsad, Kosme! Online, 23 Mac 2007)
