Congratulations on starting Avon! Your future and financial success are in your hands You are on your way to creating a successful home based business and taking control of your finances. Here are some things you can do right away to get started: Start exploring yourAVON.com by viewing the “Avon: The Opportunity for You” video located under news and resources tab on the yourAvon.com homepage. When you finish viewing the video, start thinking about your dreams and goals. How would you complete this sentence? If money were no object, I would….. Start to create a list of everyone you know. Gather your address book, holiday card list, email addresses, and cell phone contacts. By doing this you are starting to build your home-based business. With your Account Number and District Number listed on the Confirmation Page – which you printed – you can register at yourAVON.com, where you can access training, create your personal web page, and familiarize yourself with the site. Start taking your online training. Click the “training” tab and then click “Beauty of Knowledge”, click “Training Courses.” You will see the following list of courses you will want to take: o Getting Started on yourAVON.com o Launching Your Business o Online Orders o Money Management o Beauty Basics You can enroll as an eRepresentative and create your personal Website. Once your site is up and running, you can contact your customers. Click the “Web Office” tab to do this. You can also order your Avon business cards at yourAVON.com -- click “Community,” “Avon Advantage,” “Town and Country,” and then order the two part business cards. Be sure to include your personal web page address if you enrolled as an eRepresentative. Write down any questions you have for your Sales Leader/District Sales Manager. They will be contacting you in the next business day to: o Help support any questions or concerns going forward o Schedule face-to-face training before you submit your first order o Inform you of their next meeting dates and locations In the next week, you will receive additional materials including samples, brochures, and training materials. Here’s what you can do when these materials arrive: Review your “Say Hello to a new Tomorrow” booklet and complete pages 14 and 15 “What are your dreams?” and continue to build your “Who Do You Know” list on pages 16 and 17. Become familiar with the Brochure and decide on the products that you would like to try Prepare your Brochures with your name, phone number, email address, personal web page (if applicable) and when your order is due (that information is the upper right corner of the homepage on your YourAvon.com) Start distributing your Brochures and be sure to follow up on each one that you give out. Your Sales Leader or District Sales Manager will support you with training and guidance. Some of the support that you can expect includes: A welcome call to answer any questions you may have Initial training contact to review materials you received Additional training before you submit your first order Follow up after you receive your first order Remember, with Avon you’re in business for yourself, not by yourself.
