AFC Associate Board Impact Report 2022

Page 2

AIDS Foundation Chicago (AFC)’s Associate Board includes young professionals and emerging leaders who are passionate in the fight for HIV/AIDS services and prevention in the Chicagoland area. Members of the Associate Board act as ambassadors for AFC by taking part in fundraising, community service, and advocacy activities to create health equity and justice for people affected by HIV/AIDS and other related chronic diseases.

This past year, the Associate Board used their creativity and drive to further the mission of AFC. They were fortunate to host fundraising events, meet-ups, and social gatherings, creating opportunities to connect with one another and the community. As they transitioned from virtual to in-person gatherings, they were still able to maintain their strategic fundraising and community engagement goals.
