AIESEC SYDNEY at re o-day! Thanks for signing up to make Re O-Day a success! This document will tell you everything you need to know before you arrive on the day.

GOALS Re O-Day is our last chance to meet our oGCDP goals for the month! We want to achieve: • 82 sign-ups • 25 applications To make sure the sign-ups we collect at Re O-Day actually convert to 25 applications, everyone needs to make sure they are pulling in quality sign-ups by accurately conveying what AIESEC is all about!

Earlybird Campaign As you might have seen on Facebook, we’re running EARLYBIRD SPECIALS! All applications made before August 8th will receive $100 off their administration fee, should they be successfully raised. We want to encourage people to plan ahead for their summer leadership experiences and take advantage of our earlybird special today.

What/how am I promoting? The new product packaging for oGCDP is called Global Citizen! This replaces the old Go Volunteer packaging – we will not use that anymore. What is the Global Citizen program? Global Citizen is a 6-8 week overseas volunteer program which allows students to develop their leadership potential while tackling real social issues! What program details do I need to know? • $700 admin fee o Accommodation and some meals are provided for some projects • 6-8 weeks over summer – projects start at different times, which can accommodate existing summer schedules

Popular countries include (but are not limited to) Poland, Hungary, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Brazil, Indonesia.

Which sub-products are we promoting? Starting from this semester, we will be promoting specific sub-products and projects where we intend to send exchange participants. This makes our projects more transparent! J We are currently promoting: Cultural Education, Literacy, and Environment. Project samples will be available to you on the day!

Is the stall going to be fun?! Yes it’s going to be fun! Cedric has organised an interactive activity that you can use to lure in unsuspecting victims attract potential customers! This map of the world will set up on the table. There will be print-outs of several social issues, cultures and world leaders which players need to match to the correct countries! Those who match the most up will win a prize J After they’ve played, remember to talk to them about what AIESEC does!

Things to remember 1. Turn up on time (preferably 5 mins early) and check in with the project manager! 2. Bring your LC shirt to change into! If you don’t have one, let us know in advance. 3. Don’t be desperate – describe AIESEC to potential customers honestly. If they don’t seem like they would be a good fit or they’re completely uninterested, don’t push it.
