Dates for the Summits MCPe Summit: 11th-14th May Finance Summit: 15th-17th May

Visa Information Kenya is a generally easy country to access, all you need to get a visa is apply for an e-visa from immigration.ecitizen.go.ke or get a visa on arrival. Citizens from Lebanon, Cameroon and Morocco have to apply for a visa physically at their home countries at the Kenyan consulates.


Delegates Fee The charges for the MCPe summit are 130Euros. The charges for the Finance summit are 85Euros. Charges for those attending both the Finance and MCPe Summits are 210 Euros. This will cater for your accommodation and food during the summit. Do note, that this charge is not inclusive of the charges for the pre tour and post tours.


What to carry: 1. Warm clothes- Kenya is currently experiencing a rainy season so make sure you carry warm enough clothes for the weather. 2. Basic toiletries. 3. Drugs and medications you might need. 4. A pair of sandles/slippers. 5. Cash to spend. 6. A sense of adventure 7. Your country’s flag.


Basic Cost of Living Kenya is relatively cheap/expensive depending on where you buy things and what you buy but here’s a breakdown of everyday expenses you might incur: 1. Food- ranges from 5USD-20USD 2. Water- 1USD per litre 3. Entertainment(night clubs)- 10USD-50USD 4. Transport- 1USD-3USD 5. Movie Cinemas- 5USD-10USD


PRE AND POST ACCOMMODATION For those who wish to extend their stay and haven’t yet got a place to stay, we have organized for accommodation at our intern house for 9Euros/night. This will cater for: 1. Breakfast and Dinner(except Sunday) 2. WiFi 3. Hot Shower 4. Cable TV If interested, kindly email edwin.methu@aiesec.net with your travel details.


How to convert your money The currency used in Kenya is known as the Kenyan Shilling(KSHS). In order to have an easy time converting your money into Kenyan shillings, first convert it to Euros/USD then on arrival you can convert that money into Kenyan Shillings at the airport or at a Forex bureau in Nairobi. At the moment; 1USD= KSHS 100.1 1Euro= KSHS 122.9 However, we encourage you to convert your money to KShs in your country if you can to save time at airport.


Venue Izaak Walton Inn The Venue is located in Embu town, which is located 2hrs from Nairobi. Transportation from Nairobi to the venue and back will be provided. FACILITIES OFFERED • Conference rooms • Swimming pool • WiFi • Night Club
