A RETURNEE'S STORY Being alone in a foreign country makes you become a confident problem solver. Also, you will walk in the shoes of local people. It really gives you access to things that most tourists do not have the chance to see. "I got a bite on my leg because my host family's daughter accidentally bit my leg until it bled. I didn't know why she did it to me on my first week being there (in Turkey). After all, time flies, we became so close. She cried when she knew that I have to go back to Indonesia. She was like my younger sister, and they (my host family) become my lovely second family."

Relations between Global Volunteer and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Our Global Volunteer projects around the world exist because as AIESEC, we choose to shape what we do around what the world needs. We have committed to creating a youth movement to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the year 2030. AIESEC aims to help bring awareness of the SDGs to the youth of the world. This is an open call to become a Leader for the World.
