AIESEC
HISTORY
Post World-War II, the entire earth facing a great depression. A big lost of youth generation sent them a fear the cessation of the next future leaders .
1946
At the same year, on September, students
from 9 universities and 6 countries hold their meet up in Liege to build a new cooperation. They created an organization that one day would be the largest student organization in the world. This organization was established at Stockholm Congress. AIESEC tries to create young leaders who working towards for “Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind’s Potential

AIESEC was originally a French acronym for Association internationale des étudiants en sciences économiques et commerciales (English: International Association of Students in Economic and Commercial Sciences), however, the full name is no longer officially used as members can now come from any university background.

Golden Circle (the power of ‘why’) It’s comprised of three main points : WHY, HOW, WHAT. Golden circle give benefits in positioning yourself, your vision, your product to your customer by starts from the WHY.
WHAT: Team Member Program, Team Leader Program, Global Community Development Program, and Global Internship Program.
HOW:
Value-based platform, accessible for a high volume of young people, experiental learning, cross-cultural understanding and positive impact.

AIESEC experience
AIESEC Experience consists of three main phases : Engagement, Experiential Leadership Development, and Life-long Connection. 9
AIESEC experience Engagement with AIESEC In this phase, young people are introduced to the world of AIESEC through different engagement channels. They will learn about AIESEC Golden Circle and it will empower them to pick the path to kick start their AIESEC Experience.
ELD (Experiential Leadership Development) Team Member Program In this phase you will be introduced to a practical team experience, gain access to a global network and engage in practical hard skills development. Team Leader Program
This experience will culminate in your personal and professional development through the concept of team building and management. You get to experience leading other members and guiding them in their work, thus becoming a crucial part of their development.

AIESEC experience Global Community Development Program International internships are the most intense learning experience we offer and links together our global network. This program encompasses cross-cultural positive impact through working abroad for social and community development projects that lead to self development and skill enhancement for the member undertaking the program. Global Internship Program This program offers internships that contribute to the professional development of a member and assist them to specialize in a certain field of work. They are normally long term in nature and involve working on diverse business projects and organizations.
LLC (Life-long Connection) A life long connection will ensure positive change throughout an AIESEC member’s life. In this way, AIESEC presents each of its alumni a platform for continuous growth, enabling them to make a constant positive impact on society.

Stands for Big Hairy Audacious Goal. It’s a strategic statement that created to focus on a single medium-long term organization-wide goal which is audacious, likely to be externally questionable, but not internally regarded as possible.

Students from Universitas Brawijaya visited Unpad and explain about AIESEC. AIESEC Unpad was established on this year.
AIESEC Unpad noted as a legal UKM
2006
AIESEC Unpad got disbanded, thus we can’t operate AIESEC activities AIESEC Unpad received an authority to expand as a city-based Local Committee. AIESEC Bandung started to exists in this year.
