What is AIESEC?
AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. We are a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization, run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or national / social origin.
AIESEC in Bandung AIESEC in Bandung was first established in 1989 at Padjajaran University (Faculty of Economy). In 2010, AIESEC in Bandung was officially expanded of 3 universities, which are Padjajaran University, Parahyangan University, and Bandung Institute of Technology. A year later, in 2011, AIESEC in Bandung engaged more universities, such as Telkom University, Indonesia University of Education, and Maranatha Christian University. Our members are diverse from those universities. We have delivered thousands of leadership experiences to thousands of youth in Bandung in for 28 years
About Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a set of 17 Global Goals made by United Nations (UN). This goals is made to end all of the havoc and to achieve a sustainable development for a better future of this world. Every countries are working together to achieve these goals by 2030 with no one will be left behind.Â
AIESEC and SDGs AIESEC as one of the biggest youth organization and leadership movement is dedicated to support the Sustainable Development Goals from United Nations. Because we believe that we have an important role to make these Global Goals achieved. That's why, every project that we made is based on SDGs. Together, we will achieve these goals.Â
What is Local Volunteer? Local Volunteer (LV) provides a national experience with an international environment. Through allowing local youth the opportunity to be a volunteer on a local project or in an NGO in their own territory which addresses one of the SDGs for 6 to 8 weeks, alongside Global Volunteer participants. The aim is to empower young people to develop one or more Leadership Qualities by volunteering together with Global Volunteers.

INTRODUCING INDONESIA Shows international volunteers the Indonesian culture, mentality everyday life, and tradition. Help the volunteers to adjust and integrate themselves easier and faster in the new environment
What will the Local Volunteer do? 1. Actively participate in the project activities;including the evaluation session, bonding, and LC Event. 2. Participate in the project activities min. 5 hours per day. 3. Help the Organizing Committees (OC) during the preparation, if needed. 4. Help OC Event in Incoming Preparation Seminar, Global Village or Awarding Night as OC Onsite. 5. Do the certification tasks.
Certification Task In order to get your Local Volunteer Certificate, you need to fulfill these five task: 1. Make Local Volunteer Weekly Report 2. Make a short story about the project 3. Fill the Local Volunteer Evaluation Survey 4. Make a short video about the project (3’) 5. Submit 3 best photos during the project

Social Entrepreneurship (UNPAD & UNPAR)Â This project aim to raise awareness and help rural citizen to develop their entrepreneurship skills to become economically independent and interact with multiple high school students to broaden this project impact.Â
Impacting Bandung – Love for Cancer Kids This project aim to motivate the cancer kids and give them vision about the world. This project also want to make charity and build awareness about cancer kids in Bandung.
Malala Bandung – Equality Education This project aims to inspire and motivate children to have dreams and encourage them to pursue education in order to have a better life and be a better version of themselves.
Sampurasun BandungArt, Culture, & Tourism (ITB) This project aims to introduce Indonesian culture, especially Sundanese culture, and promote the culture not only to local people but also the world. This project also wants to raise awareness about our own culture. The project will do performance, campaign, and direct education about Sundanese culture.Â
iGreen (UPI & TELKOM) Aim to raise awareness about environment focusing on waste management. The activities will be done in a village in Bandung and educate the villagers about waste management. This project will also visit schools and educating the students about environment and doing campaign to open local people’s mind about the current condition of our environment.
